Provincial Hardwood Flooring offers a complete renovation service when it comes to your staircase. Staircase renovations can vary from a simple tread sanding to a complete rebuild. We build new staircases, rebuild or cap existing stairs as well as sand and finish entire staircases, including balusters and newels, new or old. We are the only flooring company in Ontario that can sand and finish your turned hardwood balusters and newels.
We also produce our own nosing which is a finishing moulding that is an important part of the stairway. The nosing is the transition piece that stops the hardwood and the railing is attached to. Nosing can be made to any size, from any specified wood, to any shape.
